What does it take to be a student at EnCircle?
We are looking for individuals who love to be on their computer and/or have a high interest in learning more. Do you have to know for certain that you want to work in the technology field? No. But, we do ask that you be willing to explore as you gain better skills for work in whatever field you choose.
Do you have to choose EnCircle over college?
No, we have had students who take college classes and come to EnCircle. We believe that EnCircle offers direct interaction with businesses, projects, and work issues as well as offers small-group instruction and hands on learning. We also offer classes on soft skills to help our students. In the past year, we have started a college support program too. If you enroll in a Moberly Area Community College technology class or one at Indian Hills Community College, we can help support you in these programs here at EnCircle.
What are the basic qualifications to be a student at EnCircle?
1. Interest in technology.
2. Ability to type, surf the internet.
3. Ability to learn and work fairly independently, but with supports as needed.
4. Sorry — we can’t handle bad behavior. You have to want to be here and be nice to others!

What kind of classes does EnCircle offer?
Do students graduate from EnCircle or receive a certificate or diploma?
No, we offer hands-on and project-based training which will reflect more in portfolio and skills development. We do have relationships with business which could possibly help you get a job after training if you want a full-time job. We also align ourselves with Voc Rehab and ACT, two organizations which also help individuals find employment. With more tech skills, the potential for higher-skilled and better paid work is increased.
What is the cost of EnCircle and is there financial aid?
Classes cost approximately $350-$450 for a 12-14 week session (check prior to semester for exact cost). Students can choose what classes to take. We do offer scholarships, and there are some funds for our classes through local service agencies.
When and where are the classes?
Our classes are held in a spacious, comfortable classroom at the Missouri United Methodist church at 204 South 9th Street (across from Shakespeare’s Pizza). The classes are usually held on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
